Why are black people racist?

I'm 12 okay. and why are so many black people you know are racist.

I think you probably don't understand what you are talking about because you are 12. Many blacks just act the way the do to defend themselves not because they are trying to attack people. Think about it, blacks don't label whites as colored when they are in black countries especially in Africa, instead they are cherished and loved. But it is the opposite where blacks are staying in white communities.

First of all you're only 12 what do you know about being a racist. You have a lot of growing up to do, you haven't even seen half of what the world has coming for you. You will come across white people who dislike their own race so do you call them racist too or it's only when Black people dislike White people. Have you ever been to Alabama ? I guess, not because if you have you will see that it is the most racist place ever. Most of the White people there hate Black people with a passion.So, before you ask another question like that you should research the topic of racism in depth detail. Racist people are not born a racist they are taught to be ignorance and closed minded about other races. I have one question for you is your mother and father racist?

Have you ever heard to Social Darwinism. Charles Darwin had the quote that says, "survival of the fittest." This meant only the people who had everything were the only people to survive. To put it into something that maybe east for you to understand is, there are two giraffes one with a long neck and one with a short neck try to retrieve leaves from a tall tree. However, the giraffe with the long neck gets all the food because he can reach the leave while the giraffe with the short neck can not get any food so it dies. His statement caused racism among all races. Even the White race.

I will say that they are not all racist... I will get that out there right off the bat so I don't step on anyone's toes! I think that all races are made up of their share of racist people. I think a lot of it comes from people that are insecure. Some of it could even come from people that are afraid of people of other races and different cultures. Most of it comes from the way that they were raised. Some, NOT ALL, blacks have anger toward the whites because our fourfathers brought them to the states. It's hard to explain to them that the whites of the current living generations did not have a hand in it, but that's all they know and believe because it is all they have been taught. Same concept as- some whites feel that the blacks only cause problems. Most feel that way because that is all they have been taught.
I will just say, I am not biased or racist... if anyone is wondering... that's only my theory of why people are the way they are.

Okay, you're 12 so I'll go easy on you. I'm black and I love everybody. I'm also educated and don't feel any animosity toward the "white man" for all that he put my forefathers through. There are racist people in every race and they cannot represent the entire race itself. Some black people are racist...just as some are drug dealers, angry at the world, killers, thieves and everything else. But there are plenty of white people who are the same way. A person is an individual, not just a race.

It's not the cause, but the result of years of hatred being bred in young blacks who have this victim mentality drummed into them at an early age and grow up thinking that their lot is because of White man and any act of crime, hate or what have you against any White person is somehow justified. Since they feel justified, they feel no guilt about what they do and actually are aghast when anyone refers to them as racists, bigots or perpetrators of hate crimes.

This cycle just feeds on itself resulting in apathy, hate, criminality and finally, prison.

You'll know a black racist easily if you hear something like "You can't be White and be in THIS neighborhood" or "They won't listen to you because you're White" and not give a second thought to what they've just said.

Listen to people like Thomas Sowell, Ward Connerly, Clarence Thomas, Condoleeza Rice, even Bill Cosby and ask them what White person held them back.

That's why the solution to the problem must come from within. I'll give you step one: Stop the hate... step two: Focus on similarities and not differences... step three: Obey the law... and even step four: Finish high school at least.

They also have to learn that Whites are not racists, and those few who might be are just that and focus on people as individuals by the way they act and not as a group by what they are.

Hey. don't sweat all the racist junk. That race card is played out anyways. Just base your friends on who you are and what you like. People end up racist when they don't think. Some people are raised that way, some have bad experiences... you never know. The only way to get around a racist is to not get offended and just be cool with them. If you don't give them a reason to hate you or put you down then what can they say? They get confused and hopefully that will get them to think a little.
P.S. it's not just black people that fall into that hole.

Are you black? Cause you're certainly racist.
Why do you group Black people as a whole? Not all Black people are racist. I'm sure as many or more Whites are racist than Blacks. But to answer your question, it is probably because we were racist and captured them and put them into slavery and didn't even think they were human. That's racist. They're just returning the favor. We probably deserve it.

I just read your additional detail. I'm Chinese, okay. DON'T YOU DARE say that the Black Chinese citizens are racist. You are more than them all put together. You attack Blacks and Chinese people. Don't even think about putting another question up like these RACIST ones or I'll report you!

I've never heard of black being a word reserved for black people any more than white is (I'm black). It's a color, not a slur.

Also, black people living in China has nothing to do with your question. Seeing as though you posted that as an answer in another question that had nothing to do with that topic, I think you are a little fixated.

To answer your real question, black people travel just like white people travel.

Stop thinking of Black people as a monolithic group that all think alike because they are just as individual as the next person. Besides, there is some form of racist in EVERY group on the planet.

Maybe the Blacks you've ran into gave you unfortunate experiences, but just because you've ran into one or a couple bad apples dosen't mean that the whole tree is bad. So you need to reprogram your thinking now so you won't think that way.

But since you are only 12, you will find that after growing up and being around all different races...they all have people in them that are bigots.

Every race has good people and bad people, it isn't just the black race that has racism as a problem.

I hope that the few you have met haven't soured you on all people who are black.

I am 35 and I must say that my friends come from all over the race, religion and sexual preference continuum, and not one of them are bigots....you're just meeting the wrong people.

Please do not mistake the racists you have met as examples of an entire race....that in itself is bigoted.
