No it isnt but the reason alot of people made a big thing over it is because 6/6/06 has to do with a war that took place years and years ago but also because 666 is a number mentioned in the bible having to do with the coming of the anti christ and the apocalips but we dont exactly know what the 666 stands for so I guess its safe to say 6/6/06 has come and gone and nothing has happened... this also came about due to a movie that came out that day called the Omen... The funny thing is when the original version came out on a particular day the same thing happened!!! The way I see it the bible is there to help us to understand Gods words and wisdom and to guide us but also to warn us of things to come but personaly I think people try too hard to read into what God Is actaully saying!!! God only knows the day ,and time when the world comes to an end and when it happens it happens but it is a good idea to be prepared and by doing that we should all fallow how God wants us to be prepared!!!! By the way im a catholic christian and please dont take what I just said as preaching its not!!!!!

Everyone associates the date(s) 06/06/06 with the number of the beast (666). You have to keep in mind that this isn't the first time this has happened. There's June 6th, 1906... 1706... 666... ect. Nothing bad happened on those days, so why this one?
Also, I'm not religious, but I do know that in the Bible it says the only one who knows the day of the beast is God himself. I don't think you have anything to worry about. However, there will always be a handful of misfortunes for everyone, just like any other day of the year.

It is a day of the year, 666 is a sign of the devil, but actually as you typed it 6/6/06 is the date so how can it be bad, it is 6606?

It depends on your religion, if your superstitious, and whether or not you believe in the devil. I personaly think it was just another day, but alot of people didn't want their child born on that day. also the sign of the devil is 666 not 6606.
