I had a 3 year relationship but now i have to live far away from him. We tried to break up but it was too hard and painful for both of us. So we talk every 3 days on the phone and visit one another every 2 months or less when possible. When we talk or are together we act like a couple. That means that we use sweet words, we get jealous and even possesive and so. He is my best friend!!! But that thing cant last for ever. Meanwhile i have met someone who is really interested in me. He is good looking and funny and i really like him. What should i do? Prolongue my suffering in a relationship that seems doomed? (i really love him but he is so far away. sooner or later he will meet someone new, someone reachable) Should i begin something new with the new guy? Should i have them both in my life? I just want to be happy again.

I think you should go with the guy who is closest to you because most likely the other guy is laid up with some chick and not thinking about you. Boys can manipulate you into wanting you and then drop you like a hot potatoe. Don't take my advice just follow your heart.

are you exclusive with guy #1, or do you have the understanding that you can date other people? i have had to leave a guy behind and we did the same thing that you are describing. ultimately, i broke it off with him when i realized it wouldn't work. i think communication is always important. if it were me, i would tell guy #1 that I would like the option to date if I wasn't sure that I wanted to break it off completely. (i think i would avoid bringing up the fact there is someone i was interested in as that can arouse a lot of jealousy) if i knew in my heart that guy #1 just wasn't gonna last, i would consider cutting ties altogether, saving him and myself unnecessary heartache. :) good luck. i am sending positive vibes 4 u.

To have them both is being greedy and selfish. You need to let your boyfriend go so he can find someone else and move on, and you need to move on as well. Whether you move on with the new guy or by yourself is up to you, but it wouldn't be fair to have them both. Maybe you should consider being by yourself for a while, its not as bad as it seems, some alone time might be exactly what you need.
