Is it a porn magazine? I came across it delivering it to an elderly man at a nursing home I volunteer at. I just find it kind of hard to believe a man his age would be into that...........

Esquire is definitely not a porn mag.
In fact, it's one of the most widely read magazines in America. It's known for its insightful essays and exposes. It wins dozens of writing awards each year. Some of the top authors in the world write for it.
It originally began as the "thinking man's" magazine. It was the older, more mature brother of GQ. In some ways, it still is.The magazine basically deals with current trends/events in politics, popular culture/ technology, entertainment, etc.
Personally, I think both Esquire and GQ faltered and caved into what I call "The Maxim Effect." By that, I mean that both rather respected magazines have lowered their once high standards and used T&A on their covers to sell copies. This is one of the possible reasons why you thought it was a porno mag.
GQ came under fire recently for having it's first issue dedicated to Russian models. Just look at this month's cover and feature article: Miss Genie in a Bottle wearing nothing but a sheet.
Anyway, I'm off on a rant... I digress.
You know you've made it when you're the Editor-in-Chief of certain magazines and Esquire is one of them.
Never fear. He's not reading porn.

It is a man mag, but it isn't porn (although, you may have seen some half-naked chicks on some pages, but hey, it does market to dudes so...). Anyway, you would be surprised to know that it is published by the same company as many beloved women's magazines:

Yep. Things were pretty straight forward back in the old testament. The question is, why do they disobey God anyway? To God (Who happens to be the creator) it is an abomination to go against that which was not meant to be. Reasons being that it gets worse for society and the guilty ones doing the act. Things cannot be normal and a positive future outcome does not exist. Now the all loving God shows that this is serious stuff by declaring the death sentence. God who knows the end from the beginning, sees the devastation and disease. The manipulation of innocent people and removal of truth itself in order to mandate the lies that are placed into effect that make these kind of acts natural. What it is is pure rebellion against God. It isn't the all loving God who is being unfair. It is the unloving rebellious people who are now causing everything that God knew would happen while shaking their fists at God and blaming Him and calling Him unloving because He doesn't nor has He ever accepted that behavior. Now this thing has gotten so far out of hand that the militant leaders of the gay community are suggesting and doing things that don't even come close to being what the true and honest gay community is all about. The gay community has no free thought and must adhere to what ever the militant leaders say. They are no longer normal human beings according to what God intended for us all. This is also what God saw in the past that would happen in the future. You really should attack God and the bible. You should be watching out for your own identity and existence as a human being. Because you are fighting the wrong enemy right now. Your true enemy is the militant leaders who decide for you what and who you are. We already know who we are. You guys never will.

It's a magazine for the professional man, like lawyers, doctors, business executives, etc. Esquire is also one the top writers' magazines. It publishes articles by some of the best freelance journalist and fiction writers in this country And does stories on men's fashions like top of the line suits and ties.
