First of all, congratulations for accomplishing a goal that you set for yourself.

Secondly, accept the fact that some people just cannot be happy for someone else. You cannot change them. I had about the same thing happen to me but it was a parent saying something similar about a job promotion I had told them about.
It is hurtful, but it is their problem---not yours. Do not let their pettiness effect your happiness.

don't take it to heart. things like that happen all the time in life. i sometimes get mad or upset when people let me down, but really we have control of our emotions. just blow it off and figure she was having a bad day.....now start studying for Thursdays exam!!!!!
(give her a little more space for the next couple days, she'll come around and you'll also get over it by then:)

Hi gal u need serious councelling....
Look it is very important to know, whom you should share things with, & there is a way to share n express them.

But If the other person is not excited @ ur sucess, then she's jealous... & in frienship it shouldn exist.

No. As your friend, she should have been happy for you. She could have been distracted or worrying over something, but that isn't really a good excuse for not acting glad for you.

maybe she didn't realise that you needed her support, too engrossed with that exam, the next time just warn her, so that neither of you would be pissed, hurt or smth like that

why are you trying to get self-validation from others? screw what everyone else thinks. you're only going to make yourself pissed off if you want to get everyone else's approval.

Always remember what is important to you is not always important to others, regardless of the percieved achievment.
