we're trying to get pregnant and i have a joy in my heart that i might be but is it too early to tell?

i'm kinda getting really really anxious, and there's nothing i can do to stop myself!!! it's too early for a pregnancy test, is there anything out there... ie old wives tale or anything... that will help me ease my nerves to know if i am or not? even though i only have 7 days till i can take the test, that seven days seems like a million to me right now!!!!
