I think he is close to the best. I might think Roy Orbison, and Nat King Cole they were great.

I think Freddie is! it is based on his range as a singer. Roy Orbison and Nat King Cole are good, but I don't feel they are as versatile.

Hes not the best but he definatly had a range thats hard to match. Many artists around today cannot compare at all and one would be hard pressed to find one that could sing even a few of his songs in the same styling he did. Although I heard the singer who is currently touring with Queen is doing a great job, although he is singing the songs differently than Freddie.

I do believe Freddie had one of the best male vocals of all time but more than that he was a musical genius. How he came up with such creations are "Bohemian Rhapsody," "Somebody to love," or even one of his last collaborations with Queen: "Innuendo" is beyond me. What a talent and a loss to the music industry.

I like Orbison better. Maybe Marty Robbins, best.

Freddie is one of the best i have had the pleasure of seeing live in concert twice, and one of the best voices and entertainers i have ever seen.
