I have used both ZoneAlarm and McAfee..both worked flawlessly for me...I like the integration with McAfee Antivirus and their FIrewall so that is on 3 of my computers..the other has ZA.

The one that comes with your OS is okay, but it's better to get another firewall and run them both.
