Is god and jesus man-made too?

In my opinion, I think religion is just a belief system made up 2 thousand years ago. The Bible was made from schizophrenics who had dreams. "The angels came to Mary at night." Why? Cause she had a dream. That's what I believe anyway. And why do we question scientifically proven facts saying they're "outdated" when they were made no more than 200 years ago, but we don't question religion that was made 2,000 years ago. Think about it. Also, religion is a form of control. "You will go to hell if you sin." They are brainwashing people, especially children. Children's natural reactions when fed this are "I better not sin because I want to go to heaven."

In my opinion yes cos man has adjusted religion and made it how he wants. If it was all down to this one god, then we'd all follow the same path but there are so many different ways. God and jesus arent man made as god made man and jesus. For those who dont believe that then god and jesus are man made too.

Religion is man made however it is mans way or understanding on how to worship God the Father and His loving Son Jesus Christ.
You can continue to not believe, and find out the hard way that there is God at the end.
If there is no God or anything like that when I die it's not a loss to believe in something good.

Yes. Religion is like a way people view society. While certain portions of religion may be independently true, the structure of it as a whole is very much man-made.

confident, it variety of feels all religions are guy-made and all gods are an attempt by ability of guy (or female) to describe that which exists. maximum religions have uncomplicated innovations on the subject of tribal or societal ideals and those would be very solid... yet those innovations do no longer originate from faith. an exceedingly solid occasion is the "Do unto others" thought that seems to be uncomplicated in the time of a great array of significant and minor religions. If human beings would desire to wrap their heads around those wider societal innovations without having tangled in each of the small tribal thinking, the international could be a much extra perfect place.

Religion is a product of man to classify, catagorize and compartmentalize how we worship God. The sheer number and variety of religions and sects attests to this as being true.

As for God, that is a matter of an individual's faith. We will believe what suits each of us the best.

Religion is made by man, the truth isn't.

Religion is the way man has interpreted the truth, but the truth has always been there.

Yes, religion was invented by ruling elites (plural, because it has happened several times throughout history) in order to brainwash and oppress the "lower" classes. It's all about power.

And yes, look around and you'll see they're still doing it.

(I am not a socialist. I am a realist.)
