Annoy him!

I highly suggest threatening to humiliate him in front of his friends or in public. My favorite idea is for you to hang all over him and tell him that you love him in public and infront of his friends OR treat him like a baby infront of them. Don't let him see you mad, he feeds off of that. If he thinks you don't care, he will stop eventually. (You could kick him in the crotch when no one's looking and then when he tells mom and dad, just deny it OR break a toy that he likes while he's on your trampoline and say 'Oops, sorry')

Here's some ideas;
"Decorate his room in pink while he is out with his friends
DuctTape him to a wall
Come within 3 millimeters of poking him, 80 times in a row.
Make him use the slowest computer in the house for video games. Play solitaire
auction him off on eBay
Paint his fingernails and toenails while he sleeps
Tell him he's really a robot like that kid in AI
Put everything on high shelves, out of his reach
Sleep on the bottom bunk and eat LOTS of beans every day
Tell him he was adopted after being left on the doorstep
Hide his porn
Penny him into his room.. hey, this also works on yesterday's list!
Wake him at 3am. Every day, for at least a week. Repeat as needed.
You don't need to, your existance manages just fine
Disassemble his computer
Kill him, then wander the earth marked by God
Force him to wear a dress
Tell mom and dad what he told you
Call him Squirt (Trust me. It works!)
Noogies
Tell him the truth about Santa Claus
Tell him you're "downloading" stuff when he wants to go online, read slashdot
Wedgies
Tell him he's a girl.
Ye old hand in warm water while he sleeps trick
Keep on referring to him as "lil-bro"
Fling boogers at him
Kiss his cheek in public
Tell him how much you love him
Sit on him with your knees pinning down his elbows. Pretend to spit on him.
Wet Willies
Play house with his dinosaurs.
Run your fingers through his hair, over and over again"

Learn to live with it. The more you let him see how much it bothers you, the more he's going to do it. I'm sure your parents do care, but to squable over something so silly gets old for parents.

One thing you have to remember is that it won't last forever, and eventually you'll actually remember things like that and they will be cherished memories. You also might think about the fact that he may be wanting to spend some time with you, to play with you. Remember you're a role model, even at 12, for younger siblings. Take some time out of your day to spend with him, and I bet he backs off some.

I know you have heard this a million times...but he just looks up to you, you would do the same thing to your older brother or sister. It may be annoying, so tell him that your mom has a cookie for him in the house and run away as fast as you can...if that doesn't work than you will just have to deal with it, your brother will probably protect you later on in life if you treat him well. Think of it as a future investment! Good luck!

Speaking as the one-time 8 year old brother to an 11-year old sister at the time, we're really pains in the *** at that age. We usually don't outgrow it until we get to be about 46 (which means I have 5 years to go).

i have the same problem except my brothers 4 and I'm 14. i just pretend like hes not there even if he talks to me eventually he gets tired of being ignored and goes away. if that doesn't work try talking to him and tell him that u would prefer to be alone at the moment and i he can give you some time to yourself then later you and him can spend time together if that don't work offer to do something small for him.

He only admires you that is why he always want to be around you, it may seem annoying but you'll appreciate it one day. I have a 7 year old brother and he does the same thing. you just have to give him some time so he won't feel alone.

Just deal with it. I am an older sister. I have a brother and a sister, and I am the oldest and when I was that age, my brother followed me around everywhere. Of course, when i was 12 he was 11. But, still you just have to learn to deal with it. He's doing his best to get on your nerves and it's working.

Sorry, but I don't think you can really do anything for now. 8 year old boys are the way 8 year old boys are, and you can't really do anything about it- but give him patience. All kids grow, and you just need to give him time. Besides, if you show him compassion even when he's being a poop head, maybe he might change his ways with you. Good luck!

look he worships the ground you walk on

try and give him little things to do away from you and tell him how much you would like him to do them

for instance put him on the trmap and tell how proud you will be id he does 100 jumps in a row

then go and do something else why he does that

I know its frustrasting but remeber he is doing this because he looks up to you - dont crush him for that
