okay, i have watch this movie for like 8 times and i still dont get the twist. who is charlie? pls explain. thanks alot

Myself and a friend watched this film, and just before the end it cut off, i presume Charlie was the dad, this is what my friend says and she had watched it before. If you really watch it with that in mind, it starts to make sense. Good luck, hope this helps lol

it wasnt really a big twist it was the dad who was charlie the only twist in the film was the 4 endings which all made the daughter seem like she has split personalities as well. thanks dad lol

the dad is a guy with split personalities..i guess it comes from stress.. u see in the end that he saw his wife cheating on him so he kills her with 1 personality and wakes up as the other personality at 2:06 in the morning..so charlie is his personality that killed his wife and he basically hates himself for doing it, so he plays a game with his daughter called upset daddy or somethin like it..cant remember...anyway, charlie is himself in another personality

yeah, de niro was charlie but it didn't make lot of sense.because there were some contradictions.but i heard they made like 2 endings so maybe in the other one someone else is charlie.or not?they are the same?
