Seriously, what class are you in? Algebra? Geometry? You chould know this!! It's the pythagorean theorm- [a2 +b2 =c2] (2's = squared). You have a and b, the two adjacent sides of the triangle. Therefore, it is the square root of 50, or approx. 7.07. Thats SUPER important, make sure you remember it!

You have to use pythagreon's theorem.

a squared + b squared = c squared

sides a and b are your legs, and c is the hypotenuse.

you have both legs (a & b), so you need to find c

5 squared + 5 squared = c squared
25 + 25 = c squared
50 = c squared
now you take the square root of 50
and you will get 7.07 in, letter D

d.7.07

5 squared + 5 squared = hypotenuse squared

25 + 25 = hypotenuse squared

50 = hypotenuse squared

7.07 = hypotenuse
