I feel like I left myself behind.........with raising a family and working full-time. Sometimes I regret it, other times not. I guess it's called being a responsible adult.

I left behind one ex husband and sold a housefull of material items and no I don't regret it. The only thing I regret is loosing track of a jewlery box that I had. I wish I still had that. It had some important things in it.

I left behind my home in New Jersey near the shore to take a much higher paying job in Louisville, Kentucky.
I deeply regret it, not because Louisville, Kentucky is bad, but because even after ten years, I miss my family and friends terribly.
The money was not worth it.

I left behind a husband who was cruel, mean, terrible to the kids, abusive verbally and emotionally and physically to me and the kids and my parents and dog even. It was one of the hardest things I did and I took forever to do it but I reached apoint where I knew my life was worthless because he made me feel that way. I just woke up one day and one more bad thing happened after another and I said to myself "life is what you make of it and so far I have made a mess" So I had to decide do I want to continue going downward or do I make a stand for myself and my kids who by now are grown. I chose to make a stand and I called the police and took out an order of protection and had him served at his work in front of his friends, who thought he was wonderful and it was the start of a wonderful life for me. Granted I didn't better myself over-night but the relief and the freedom is priceless. I don't worry about what I can and can't say or do, I don't worry about my kids or parent s being near him, my dog can jump on the furniture and cuddle and play now, its just a wonderful life.

I never regret ANYTHING!!! Why live life in regret? Then that only means you are not happy with yourself and if you are not happy with yourself then what is the point of living ? Live day to day and be open minded because change IS GOOD!!!

I had to leave behind my family, friends, and my hometown when I got married. I don't regret it because I love my husband very much and sometimes you have to make sacrifices in life.

I left behind my dream of being a field researcher to be a mother. No, I don't regret it, but I take it out and look it over fondly once in awhile.

Partying in college. I chose to study and graduate in the top 3% of my class, so I forfeited the partying in lieu of an excellent future. As a result of not partying in college and my younger years, I am now able to party all I want because I am financially secure as a result of the sacrifice I made. I do not regret it one bit.

Everything. Or at least I tried to, but it keeps following me around.
I don't regret it for a minute. I'm far better off now.

I left my family behind. No I don't regret it, b/c I realized that no one can do anything successful for myself, but myself. It's a part of growing up that I had to do you know?
