Yes I do, and I have had several encounters. One was at a place where I used to work. I'd be working alone, and hear the front door open and close, and feel the wind, but there was nobody there. We also have one in our basement at home. He's dressed like an old time farmer (late 1800's early 1900's) We have steps going outside from the basement, and when I'm down there doing laundry, I'll see him come down the steps, walk towards me, and disappear, He, or maybe another entity has also been moving things in the basement. There is a bridge near our house, about 2 blocks away. When I used to take walks in the evening, there was a spot by the Northeast corner of the bridge that was always cold, even in the middle of summer. I learned later, that in the 1950's, a young boy was run over by a speeder who lost control. The bridge is at the bottom of a hill.

Ghosts as in Casper... definetly no
I still can't make my mind about it... I mean I believe that maybe not all souls go directly to heaven/hell (or wherever it is they go), and maybe they can Choose to stay here. But the fact that "ghosts" are in earth to scare the hell out of people... I don't believe. I think that all that you had against someone just comes to an end when you die...no more regrets, guilts, or resentments.
As in encounters... I think I had. I couldn't actually see her, since I had hidden in my covers (yeah, I'm a coward, so?!) but I felt someone sit besides my bed, at 2 am, then a hand touched my forehead... in that instant I felt this immense rush of energy into me. And I can assure you it was no normal person, for the covers are see-through, and I saw nothing at all. Was it a ghost? I dunno. But maybe.

Yes, and I have had an encouter. There was a thirteen year old girl that was murdered and my friend lives in the house that her family lived in at the time of her death. I was there one night and she was looking for a necklace to show me because she thought it was the girl's. She found it in her room when they moved there, it was WAY up on a really high shelf, kind of under it. Anyway, we found it in the basement and she said that her stuff is always dissappearing and it ends up in the basement. She told me she thought it was the ghost. I was like, "That's stupid. Ghosts aren't real." Well, we took her dog outside and we were gone like two minutes. I went upstairs to her room and my stuff was gone. It was soo wierd. And guess where it was....the basement. I am now a firm believer in ghosts, but I am not afraid of them. I think they are simply souls, that need our help on their way to the afterlife.

As a child the chandelier used to swing from side to side, and the radio would turn on by itself in the middle of the night.
One time on a camping trip I was walking back from the bathrooms at that moment right between day and night and I saw someone walk across the front of the site and stop behind a tree. So I figure one of the people is going to jump out and try to surprise me, so I pull out my flashlight, walk up to the tree, turn on the light, and there's no one there.
One time I was alone in a house, and I felt a presence. I looked at a mobile hanging motionless, and said, "If there is anyone else here, make the mobile spin." The next moment, the mobile began to spin.
One time I was driving into Ponca State Park to set up a large camping gathering, and the sides of the road were lined with spirits. All standing there, clearly visible to everyone, calmly welcoming us back.
On another camping trip, we felt a spirit near the bon-fire. We had a ring of 40 tiki-torches around the bonfire. It was a still and windless night, but all the tiki flames near the spirit bent in. One of the people in the circle had a fancy camera. After the campout she went to get the film developed, and all the photos from before the visitor turned out, but after that all the film was blank. She took the camera in to be repaired. The repairman asked if she'd been in a nuclear power plant. All the innards were fried from electromagnetism
My grandmother died while my niece was in utero. After my niece was born, she would look up at areas where no one was standing, and laugh and giggle. We all knew that she was looking at gramma, so we never showed her any pictures. Finally, at about a year old, she could speak, and my sister showed her the family photo album. My niece picked out her photo and said, "That's Old Gramma."

I don't believe in ghosts, not ghosts you can detect visually or aurally.
I do however, believe there is some yet unidentified force not known to humanity's knowledge of science.
