This was a far cry from the "up to three years" he was formerly told. He sacrificed to make the initial purchase. He has sent them a registered letter as spelled out in the contract ending his relationship with them. Still, he is out $2,700 with nothing to show for it but a hairpiece that he can't afford to keep up. Can he get a refund?

depends on if he signed a contract that states this particular hefty fee. If not than fight it out with a lawyer.
