There's this family...

Their house burned to the ground (it was a rental house with BAD wiring).
THey are suing the landlord, but they have NOTHING, no clothing, nowhere to go. They have used the little money they saved to try to feed, clothe, and try to keep their job.

TOnight is the last day the insurance will pay for their hotel room, and they are facing sleeping in their car.

HELP! Do you know of any place they can go? Homeless shelters wont take them because they work. No one will give them a place to stay with the money they DO have because their credit got ruined in all of this.

If you don't know of any resources, do you have any ideas of how to best survive while they are on the street?

Have the tried the Salvation Army. In our state when there is a disaster, they will help find a place to stay and help with clothing. Good luck.

Whether these folks are religious or not, tell them to check the local churches. They will pay for a hotel while they help look for permenant housing, feed them and clothe them. Churches are set up to help people in circumstances like this.
