The best places to start is with your bank. If you have had an outstanding account for several years, they can help you.

Other places are Department Store Credits.

Remember this hard fact about Credit!!!! Never go beyond your means. Make sure you have more than enough money to payments and still afford food, utilities, rent/mortgage, etc.

Never jump at credit offers from the mail. These are not good credits to start with. They want you to pay anywhere from $100 and more to initiate, the interest rates are way too high and they will bounce you real quick if you miss one payment. Most of the Mail Credit charge a whopping 22% interest, or more.

A good Credit Card should be less than 15% interest, the lower the better.

If you get a Credit Card, he is a trick to get your Credit Score to raise: Buy only $100 dollars (or less if you cannot pay that when the bill comes) worth of items. When the bill comes, pay ALL but $5. Each month, only spend up to a total of $100 (remember to add the $5 you leave each month to that amount, ex $5 + Interest Rate + $?? = $100 for the 2nd month on), but ALWAYS leave the $5 dollars on each full payment.

If you pay off your card each month on the full amount, your credit score barely moves. BUT, if you leave the $5 (this way, the interest will be the bare amount allowed), and your credit report shows you are making payments, your credit score goes up.

I know it sounds stupid and unbelievable, but that is the way Credit works. You have to show you still OWE money to get a Credit Rating. But, you don't want to fall into the common trap of owing TOO much. If that happens, you will NEVER get out of debt easily.

Have you looked into a local Credit Union? They are very helpful for first time car buyers, personal loans. Their rates are lower (many times) so you don't have to trade a kidney just to get your personal loan.
Used to be that you had to be a member of an organization .These days just about anyone can join.
Paying the loan off on time will net you the great credit you need and will put you well on your way to bigger and better things. Good luck.

Building your credit starts somewhere. Typically, you will expect to get high interest rates and low loan amounts until you establish good credit. Try going to your bank or financial institutions, like Wells Fargo Financial ... most major banking corporations have this type of division. They will want to know about your property (assets) and if you have any debts or bills (ie: medical bills). You will need to disclose the use of the loan in most cases and they will set up a repayment schedule. Make sure they don't give any early repayment penalty (which is a fee you pay if you pay off your debt ahead of schedule).

I don't think you can borrow with out credit. Although, depending where you live you can probably get a small loan at a Money Mart or something like that. You will probably have to apply for credit with a bank though. Good luck!

You can't although that depends upon what you mean "you don't have any credit."

Most stores will grant you a store card if you have a job and you haven't been seriously late on other credit accounts. Usually that is the first place to attain credit without a cosigner.

First, you're able to get your credit report. I even have had unfavorable credit rankings earlier and that i purely had to wait for a year or too for my credit to heal. The greater places you prepare the greater severe it looks in case you keep getting denied. purely initiate placing off the cheap for your self and pay the grand off that's what I had to do.

Get a student credit card (most likely the only place that will give you one at this point) or you can have someone co-sign
