I've always been fascinated by this, but I guess I don't fully understand, and I thought maybe you people would have to interesting views on these questions. I mean, what exactly is a soul? Does it live on after you die? What makes your unigue from others? I just think it's so mind boggling, and I'd love to see what you all think about it.

I have an interesting theory on this. As of right now, most believe there is no way to destroy energy, matter yes, but energy only changes form...We all know that virtually all life and all substances known have some form of energy (positive and negatively charged usually)....anyway, I believe that the soul is a projection of what is left after the body leaves us. It in essence is the willful form underneath our skin.

Once our body dies, electrical impulses still flow through the body for a limited amount of time after which I can only assume the charges leave the body (kind've like our own gravitational field) as there is nothing functioning (such as the synapses in the brain) that causes charge/energy.

At this time our soul and all knowlege we've acquired is free to do as it pleases. Most go where they've always believed they were to go (heaven/ valhalla/ another world/ no where/ etc) as all that is left is pure impulse and knowledge. Though all knowledge may not be true, it is relevant and thus builds our own reality.

what makes the living different from the dead is it that the living have a soul and the dead do not if the dead did have a soul then they would be alive. Here is an activity you can do ye ha!!
Move you hand then think about where exactly you are in your body your soul is that inter full feeling. You know that your soul exist within your self for if it didnt you would be dead. A soul is life it is the thing that makes living possible and a soul always continues to live for if there was no soul there would be no after life there would be no point of living if you where just to die but if you where to live again then diying would have a purpose after all (to live new life )well i am getting off the subject but i thought that you might be interasted to know...

An expression , hes a good old soul, or the nursery rhyme, Old King Cole was a merry old soul, it could mean a person. The spirit , the energy and force that we all l have within us. Where does that spirit go when we die, possibly to a power and spirit higher than our own comprehension. That's my views. What makes me unique from others, I don't feel unique , but I like when I am made to feel special by the people I trust and care about.

Interesting question, and an uncommon one, at that.

People are not born with a soul. A soul is a luxury. The making of a soul is a long, arduous task that requires "conscious suffering" and which will produce a kind of "substance" that is then stored in the "body." Then when we die, this substance is released and hovers above the earth for a period of time before it . . . .

Do you have any other interesting questions about man's construction?

No one knows for sure. If your a christian, you believe your soul goes to heaven. If your Buddhist, you believe that your reincarnated as something else. I personally like the theory that we are made up of energy and when we die our energy returns to the earth. In return, the earth can grow plants and keep animals and people living. This kind of goes along with the reincarnation aspect, but it makes sense to me. A lot of people think that a soul is a persons conscious being, and that's why when we die, the body is not conscious because the soul has left.

In primitive times people did not know about chemistry and did not know that the body consumed oxygen from the air to keep people alive. In their ignorance they thought there must be something different about the chemistry of living things versus non-living things. The idea of a soul was an entity which kept people alive. Now, even though we should know better, some people still maintain these old beliefs, even though modern science based understanding no longer has a need for them.

An imaginary fabrication designed to lull idiots into considering they will have a few sort of cognizance after demise. It's dull, infantile and an outright like however they swallow it hook, line and sinker. Why? Because they can not come to phrases with the FACT that after they die, that is the tip of it. For all people. Which is a disgrace particularly on the grounds that then they could truthfully are living for at present alternatively of for a few infantile tale of a made up sweet-land.

my idea is that, it's what a person made more unique & up ahead to other's God creations. it's a stage of one's life were, us people have to leave our own physical body in time & travel to a different direction towards the path we belong for. Only God knows were we should be going/belongs to. Soul are out of physical pain, no ordinary people can see you aside from the gifted ones who has the ability to see dead people, also, they can travel at different places they want or follow/guide their loved ones how far they're going through different places without a transportation, they never feel exhausted. that's what make a soul unique. a soul can be compared to a wind in which you can feel their presence, maybe at your side or passing near through you sometimes, also, some whispers you might hear esp. on the unexpected time/situations.

I think that your soul is what makes you you. You have your body, everyone does, but your soul gives you everything unique. If we didn't have it we would all be the same, like robots. It gives us free thinking, and there are parts that we have never been. When we die I don't know what happens with it, I have my beliefs of Heaven and Hell and other people have theirs. And I think that some of your dreams can sometimes open a window into our soul.

I really couldn't tell you as no one person has a particular belief on this. I did want to mention that Albert Einstien scientifically proved the existence of a "soul", or more appropriately worded, energy. Hey theorized that the soul would have to be energy, and everything has kinetic and potential energy. From there it goes, you should look into it if this topic interests you...
