Why is it that the Government is trying to keep our Military tactics a
big secret...yet the News Media is showing everybody all the newest stratigys and weapons...what is it with that?

The problem with the media is that it is international and doesn't always act in what is the best interests of our country. CNN especially says that they provide news for the whole world and are not responsive to any one country. Efforts should be made of course to keep information related to our national security from this and other organizations that do not feel they are part of US

The Military allows some information out to act as a deterrent at times and also to let taxpayers see what thier paying for. But most the times the media shows a lack of responsibility by just blabbing. In WWII there was a campaign to keep everyone quiet. You would see it in theaters loose lips sink ships.

The media is constantly undermining our military and it should not be allowed because it aid the enemies.

maybe they feel if they show it most will not make them use them however if you can talk a kid into suicide then it doesn't deter
