How do you get a featured question? And how do you know if it is?

Featured questions are chosen by the moderators. You get an email from the Y! Answers team if your question is picked.

Unfortunately they don't tell you which one, so if you don't visit Answers on the day your question is featured there's little way of finding out which one it was. (I guessed mine from the fact that it had dozens more answers than my questions usually get)
