First, San Antonio is about the same temp as most parts of OK. There are plenty of covered shows at Sea World that you can enjoy without worrying about sunburn. There is also a kid water area in the middle of the park that you can probably play with the 8 month old. Bring a light stroller with shade, too. However, that being said, it is kinda expensive to go to Sea World. My inclination is to get my dollars worth by staying the whole day. That may be hard to do with an 8-month old. There are many things to do (e.g., wave pool, rollar coaster) that absolutely you cannot do with an 8-month old. In short, its doable but not without many limitations and extra effort. Good luck

uhmmmm babie are born everyday in san antonio and they live there when theya re 8 months old!! get good baby sunscreen & an umbrella to block the little one from the sun - and have fun - if your afraid the baby will weigh you down and ruin your trip - then find a family member to watch them - but image how much worrying you will do while you there and your baby is not!!!

It is going to get up to 100 degrees in SA today, and there is no end in sight to the heat wave. Lots of people bring their babies to sea world every day, but be sure to have a stroller with shade, and plenty of baby sunblock.
