Will producers allow me to audition for Sondheim musicals if they find out my middle name before I give them my resume?

No. As you walk through the door to the audition room, a red light will start spinning and a siren will sound. A special panel in the floor will open up causing you to fall through the hole, at which time you will slide down a long chute and be spewed out onto the street outside, landing unceremoniously on your behind. The producers will, of course, have a hidden camera pointed at street level so that they can record all of this and air it on upcoming reality shows and earn a fortune from your sad demise.
The only way to avoid this is to go immediately to your local registrars office and officially change your name by deed poll. This action will certainly guarantee you a successful audition and allow you to laugh loudly at all those fools who wasted years of their time actually rehearsing and sweating, honing their talent, skill and craft.
