Scars can be removed by having an operation- a cosmetic one- so it could cost you quite a bit. Any of these fad creams are unlikely to work i'm afraid, especially as the scar is fairly old now, all they do is moisturise the scar.

Curad (they make band-aids) and Neosporin have GREAT pads that stick on like band-aids that you can use; Curad's is called Curad Scar Therapy. They're about $20 a box, but they work great! I've got a scar on my knee that's awful, but after 2 or 3 rounds of using those patches, you can barely see it anymore.

Vitamin E cream it takes a while but it minimized them and eventually they disapear depending on the scar of course

my mom use to put some banana on the scar or burn and the scars become less visible

mine usually fade with time, but I think mederma works. I just get impatient and stop use before it's finished the course, so it hasn't worked for me.
