It is supposed the number of the Anti-Christ, who will lead the forces of evil in the final battle of Good vs. Evil.

In a biblical viewpoint it would be the mark of the devil, although there is speculation that it was actually three 9's upside-down and not three 6's. It is also an oversimplified date (being today). It is a group of numbers. Therefore it is an symbol, an idea, a moment, and a language.

It is the sign of the apocalypse, which is the end of the world. Personally I do not believe in it but it is well known throughout society. It is basically a Christian belief because it is on regards to the devil.
