I had some songs on my iPod that were Christian dance songs. I loved them and I wondered if there are any groups out there who record this kind of music.

In the "Mainstream"? Maybe a few. Most are relatively "under the radar", so to speak. The first 2 names that usually come up are Scott Blackwell & AJ Mora. Think of these guys as the Van Dyk/Oakenfold of Christian Electronica. There are many others, running the gamut from fun praise-chorus remixes to bangin' industrial. Stylistically, you can find Dance, Techno, House, Ambient, Downtempo, Breakbeat, Trance, Hard Trance, Goa, Goth & Industrial... and a few others that defy classification.

My iPod currently contains:
Apt.Core
Andy Hunter (heard on CSI & the Matrix films)
Hypersonic
Jumping in the Highest (Compilation)
Prodigal Sons

Other artist descriptions/bios, can be found at tastyfresh.com and nsoul.com. There's a site called beatport.com that has audio samples, but I think it's just a generalised thing. Not much in the way of descriptions.

I've been into electronica since the '80's and born-again since the '70's. I can tell you that it's hard to find "good" Christian electronic music. It seems to be scattered about, but with some digging and tenacity, it can be found.
