I know people that have it so easy, and some that have it really hard. I just wonder if some people have hardships for a reason, and others don't. I've gotten cancer, had chemo for 2 years, then was in remission for 7 months, only to find out a week ago that the cancer came back. Then I know people that are healthy, and get everything they want, sometimes being the things I missed out on as a benefit to them. So I want to hear your opinions on why some have it hard, and some have it so good. Or do you just think it's luck? Tell me what you think! Thanks

I think there are two main factors. Firstly there is luck, some people are born into a good family and have loads of opportunity's, others don't.
Secondly there is personality, if you have the right personality you can create your own luck, and drive your own life.

There are probably thousands of others, but I think these two are the most important.

God knows where it's going to rain and why. Some see rain as bad and some see it as good. The question is... If you believe that our time here on this earth is short and our eternity is the real deal then the quantity of time we are on this earth in these physical bodies is second to what we believe and do while we are here. If you believe the Bible- receiving Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord and trusting Him with your life is the basis for all other beliefs and decisions. Because your life might be shorter than some is all the more reason to take your eternity seriously. I hope you will trust Christ and lay your life in His hands. Then you can rest in His management of all of these confusing issues. Just put one foot in front of the other trusting Him. What a blessing to know that no matter what kind of life you have here, if you trust Christ as your Savior- eternity with Christ in glory is what you have to look forward to after this life is over.

Purely random chance; people's lives are affected by the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics and its corresponding corollaries found in Murphy's Law...nothing more, nothing less.
