Teach religious stuff in religion class, actual science in science class. Give parents or kids themselves the choice of not taking any of the above. Everybody goes home happy, the ridiculous debate ends.

No, basic Darwin Evolutionary theory is the ONLY thing that should be taught in SCIENCE class, it is supported by multiple other divisions of science in addition to biology. Any other creationist or creation-like "theories" should be discussed in theology classes or philosphy.....that is what the soft sciences are for.

Definitely not since creationism is not science and the religious values of students from different religious background doesn't unite all the time.
