i have dark brown eyes, whats the best colored contacts for me ?

i have dark brown eyes and i want to have light blue or light gray. i have heard that acuveve 2 colors opaque worked good, but i was wondering if any of you w/ dark eyes have tried them and if they work ? any sugestions ?????????

people keep sayin i should keep my brown eyes.......yeah i like my eye color, but i want a change every now and then.

if you go to your eye doctor, they usually let you try them out to see how they work...

I would just go and ask if you could test out one to see if that color is right for you.

I think you should go with darker colors like dark green or a dark blue.Go to Sam's Club and by the contacts they usually have pictures of the colors they have.Look for the dark colors then ask your optometrist about it.You have to do tests even if you can see well you still have to do it because nobody has the same eyes.

I have dark brown eyes and the ones I have tried are sterling grey and their pretty and also true sapphire and they show up really good on dark brown eyes. I try those Acuveve opaque but they look ok. I too have brown eyes. What I do like is the Freshlook color blends. Those don't look fake at all. People think I have green eyes . Sometimes I change it up with the grays (depends on my outfit). I love them. They are about 35 dollars a box.

Well, I to have dark brown eyes and so does my cousin and she wears contacts. She has a smoky gray type they work best for people with dark brown eyes. The eye docter thinks so too.

The colored contacts work best for people who have light-colored eyes. The acuvue contacts may work for you, but you'll have to settle with dark blue, dark grey, or dark green eyes--light colors won't work because your eyes are so dark. I know, because I've got the same problem with my eyes.

Well, I have dark brown, almost black hair and very tan skin. I have naturally brown eyes, but I look really exotic when I wear green contacts.

I have asked the same thing (for 12 years) and found that no colored lens will ever make me look like a natural blue/gray. But, if you want to try it for yourself you can print out coupons from Acuvue and Freshlook to try a pair for free.

I ended up using Freshlook Radiance, which don't change your color, but do add a glow. 1-800-contacts.com is probably your best bet as far as a good price goes.

If you have dark brown hair, then clear contacts. I think your dark brown eyes are pretty, even though I've never seen you, I like dark brown eyes, especially when your hair's the same color.
