Yes. Though Darwin's Theory of Evolution is just that, A THEORY, schools teach it as if it were scientific fact. It is not only idiotic, but blasphemy. The book of Genesis gives you all the information you need on creation.
It is quite ironic that many people don't believe the bible because, as they claim, it was written by men. (All scripture is divinely inspired - the obedient men of God wrote what they were inspired to write by God the Holy Spirit). But these same UNbelievers will believe such a ludicrous theory as that written by one man named Darwin.
Go figure.
P.S. A comment to your first answerer and to those who would agree with him/her: The wisdom of God is foolishness to those who perish. It will be quite an eye-opener for them when they finally meet their Maker.

They certainly are doing you a favor... As for the boys and girls opinion... That what it is...I dont know how old you are but it would be good that you learn as young as possible to beware of the voice of prejudice wich is always in denial of what it cannot understand.
A huge majority of scientists are in favor of this theory, and a lot of them work and research within that understanding to further science, even at the level of biochimistry; and surely chemistry to you is not just a bunch of haphazard theory...
To biologists the whole realm of life is precisely organized and comprehended within the evolutionnary tree, with some surprising leaps here and there... but still, globally an evolutionnary process.
As for species dating back 1,10, a 100 million, and up to 2 billion years ago, again you would need to go and contradict nearly 99.9% of phyzicist and geologists... Note that earth and sun themselves are 5 billion years old, and that in the same way modern astronomy relies on an evolutionnary understanding of the universe. That doesnt diminish God, in fact in glorifies it.
If you are a Christian i'm quite sure you could find some of us who have integrated the seemingly opposite points of view. Here is a link about a famous one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pierre_Teilhard_de_Chardin

Ask yourself which are more likely to know the truth about Biology -- 99.9% of People with PHds in Biology including all Nobel Prize winners, or some kids, ancient goat herders, and a few people who prefer to remain ignorant.
Seriously anyone with a petrie dish some anti-biotics and some bacteria can prove evolution to themselves in a few weeks. I will get spammed for saying this but the sad truth is that I have never met anyone who rejected evolution who wasn't an ignorant fool.

I even did a number of that throughout the time of faculty. LOL that is hard to have faith I survived severe college and that i grew to become into an "A" student. college is have been females have been and have been I performed soccer so I had a blast. It did no longer harm that by using the time i began severe college my Dad had provide up eating (He grew to become into between the worst alcoholics I even have ever seen) . mom grew to become into nevertheless a discomfort yet Dad and that i grew to become suited pals, So i think my view of my severe college years is slightly biased. the college Dances have been vast activities in a small city that had one action picture coach with only one exhibit, no speedy nutrition eating places and no department shops. We did no longer get Rock stay shows coming interior one hundred fifty miles so i did no longer see my first stay stay overall performance till I went away to varsity except you count selection close by bands playing on the Dances.

Prime example of Creationists not doing their research:
Darwin's theory of evolution is just one of the many theories of evolution. All Darwin did was introduce the concept of natural selection, which answered (scientifically!) the biggest question the concept of evolution faced: Why did a species evolve? (answer: Sucessful traits increase survivability, which increase proliferation of those traits in subsequent generations)
If you can provide SCIENTIFIC evidence of evolution being a fraud or creationism is correct, by all means, bring it to the table, and we can discuss it.
Otherwise, take your Bible over to the Theology section. I'll meet you there, and we can discuss Creation there. ^_^
Be well!

There are three types of people who won't even consider evolution as a valid theory -- (1) religious fanatics; (2) people too lazy to study it; (3) people who lack the intelligence to understand it.

Looking at your other questions and answers, why are you asking this question? Because you have already indicated elsewhere that you don't believe in evolution.
Evolution is a science and the teachers are correct to teach it to you.
Other beliefs are just that - beliefs. You are entitled to have them, but don't confuse them with provable science.

Evolution is the unifying principle of biology. No biologists disbelieve in evolution.
Here is a link to a lot of creationist claims about evolution that are simply not true, and why they are not true:

My second favorite is "Why aren't apes evolving into humans?"
