Because I know how disappointed and angry my parents will be, I'm considering an abortion. I want to keep it as my first option, but everytime I think about what their reaction will be, I go to considering abortion. My boyfriend is very supportive, but we've only been dating for 1 month. My parents do not believe in pre-marital sex, and they think of me as their golden child. Disappointing them is the last thing I want to do. My boyfriend and I are both 20, but we're also both just sophomores in college. He is willing to deal with upsetting his parents, but I'm wimping out on telling mine. It's hard to explain to everyone how much they will hate me for this. Maybe I should just face up to my mistake, and tell them, but I'm so scared to.

I'm 20 too and my mom is really religious but worst she pays for my college education, my bf is 20 too and his parents pay for everything for him. When we started having sex we talked about everything, including if i got pregnant, and i for the 1st time in my life was ashamed of myself. I actually considered an abortion if i got pregnant. I changed my mind when i went to church and an elder said that verse Jeremiah 1:5 about God knowing us before we where concieved. Tell your parents, ur 20 it's time u became your own person, the might be shocked and upset but a baby is always a blessing.

The way I see it is that you ARE an adult... abortions are wrong.That baby is Innocent and did not ask for this.It deserves a chance to live and grow. EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON and if you and the father don't feel as if you can raise this child, consider putting it up for adoption, because later on in life you will regret having the abortion.
There are plenty of couples out there that can't have children that would love to have your child.Who knows maybe you have a friend or a friend of the family that could take your child in and you could still have some type of a relationship with the child.
DON'T take the easy way out, that one night of LUST and PLEASURE, you now have a gift from God, don't throw that gift away because later you will regret it trust me I KNOW!!!!

*gives thutchinson a sorrowful hug* I don't know much about all that (i'm 15) but I think you should tell them and don't have an abortion. That baby deserves to live even if you made a mistake. If your parents love you they will support you and help you. I hope you finish college and still get the career you want even with a baby around. Oh by the way you should probably marry your boyfriend, that'd make your parents happier.

I think you need to learn how to trust in your parents. Stick up for your actions because if you abort your baby you may regret it for the rest of your life, and if your parents ever found out about it then they would be more upset with you for aborting. Tell them, yes they will be disappointed but it's life and you have to learn to stand up for your mistakes. What are they going to do? Nothing but yell at you and then they will calm down and come around. In the end they will be happy grand parents. Do you really want to do this to your self? Not only will you be killing your baby, but hurting your body and will never ever forget about it. Please don't abort. Talk to your parents. There are people like me who have been trying to have a baby, and we can't. I would do any thing to be able to get pregnant. Consider every thing that you will be losing if you killed your child. He is a part of you and you made him out of love. Do you really want to kill this love? Just talk to your parents tell them that you love them and regret hurting them this way but love made you weak and if your guy is supportive then why are you so scared?

you should just face up to it. you have s boyfriend that is willing to support you and help you out! your an Adult and it may upset them but I bet you that they would be more upset if they found out that you were thinking about abortions. talk to them, maybe consider Adoption. Trust me I know its scary, I'm 20 and I have a 16 month old, i was scared to death to tell my grandma, she raised me, but now I have the most Handsome baby ever, and my grandma supports me 1000% and I have never been more happy

do not abort your child! Abortion is a permanent desicion that will be with you the rest of your life. If you're parents ever found out you had an abortion, do you think they would be more dissappointed than if you had just told them you were pregnant?

even though they may get mad at first you are their daughter they will always love you. You are adult. your parents will come around don't get abortion just because you are worried about your parents. if you don't want the baby there is lots of people out there who want kids who can't have any. Yur parents will freak out more about an abortion , NO matter how mad they get the baby is still their grand child tell them.

i say tell your parents. yes they will be upset at first but they will come around. I think if they ever found out about the abortion they would be much more upset with you. tell your parents

if they really are realigous then they will be even more upset if you get an abortion. Either way they will eventually find out that you were pregnant. Personally i would tell them i was pregnant (maybe over the phone) and yes they will be mad. but maybe they will realize that you are owning up and they will forgive you.
