Sorry your mom is like that. Not all parents are the same. I listen to my kids all the time.
Have you ever tried to sit down with her, when nothing else is going on, and let her know that you feel she doesn't hear you when you talk to her. If your family is as frantic as mine, try to "make a date" with your mom. Go to a coffee shop or lunch, just you and her. You need to let her know how you feel, without sounding like you are mad at her.
You could also try writing her a letter, telling her about your feelings. Be honest, but don't try to make it seem like it's all her fault. If you sound like you are accusing her of ignoring you, you will put her on the defensive. It's not fair that you may have to take these steps, but if it works, it will be for the better. For both you and your mom.
Good Luck!!

She does listen, she does understand, she was once a kid too, with a mom of her own too. And I'll bet you anything you like she felt the exact same way at some point.
It is the role of teenagers to believe that their parents (/the whole world ) don't understand them.
It is the role of adults to know that we all go through that and it will end.
And when it does end, you'll maybe be fortunate enough to realise that well, actually, your mom has loved you and supported you your whole life, and the times she said "no" were times when actually she did know best.

i would imagine it is because you are a spoiled little brat who never has anything interesting to say
its probably all about you 24/7 and how much stuff you want and think you deserve just because you were born
how about trying to listen to your mom once in a while and trying to have a little compassion for what she might be going through
how about being a little appreciative of what she has given you and what she has done for you instead of complaining all the time?

Frequently parents say their children are not listening to them. Frequently children say their parents are not listening to them either. Most of the time both are listening to each other and they even care about each about what each group has to say. The problem is that neither group gets the response it is seeking.

It saddens me that your Mom doesn't listen to you being a Mother myself. I pride myself on being a parent and a friend for my boys. Maybe if you sit and really try to have a serious talk with her she will hear you.

No offense - but do you ever listen to yourself? Does what you say really mean anything or are you just whining about your day? Give the woman a break. She has her problems too you know.

Tell her how you feel, just say something like "mom I love you, and I honestly feel like you never listen to me"! Just don't say anything hurtful. Good luck sweetie:)

not all parents are like that. I suggest you ditch your mom and find a REAL adult to talk to, like a teacher, coach, friend's parent, etc.

Did you ever ask you mother why she doesn't listen to you?
If you do she might realize that she's hurting your feelings.
