No double standards at all- just a simple difference in the fact that Iran has signed the Nuclear Non-Priliferation Agreement, and Israel hasn't. By signing that agreement Iran promised to allow inspections of its nuclear facilities and to never build nuclear weapons. The fact that they don't like the fact they signed the treaty is just too bad for them.

On top of that- Iran has a history of beliigerence and an autocratic theocracy leading them- as oppossed to Israel which has attempted to sign peace treaties with those aggressive towards them (and has been succesful with Egypt and Jordan), and has a democratically elected secular government.

Do you keep up on current events? If you did, you would know that Iran's president has been making wild and dangerous threats to and about Israel. That is what we commonly call 'a loose cannon'. Frankly, I don't know how Israel keeps it's cool with this psychopath shooting off his mouth the way he has. I suppose it is because Israel is a civilized country and this is the way civilized countries act.
It is in the best interest for all concerned that Iran does not have or is unable to make nuclear bombs. A well armed Iran would be a threat to world peace!
As far as countries such as Israel, Pakistan, India, N.Korea, etc., already having nuclear weapons, well there's not much we can do once a country does have them, but we can work with the UN to stop the proliferation of nuclear arms.

In some procedures it incredibly is a double standard as is the reality that we've nuclear weapons too. Israel is our best pal and the leaders of Iran are belligerent and don't probably like the USA of a. Iran 's president is a risky guy. we would merely use our nuclear weapons as a final hotel to take care of our us of a. so some distance as i understand, Israel poses no possibility to us, yet they have been struggling with over the Gaza Strip and who it belongs to for years with the Palestinians.

The whole Iran nuclear threat thing is just a big bunch of crap so the US and allies can start a war and get to the oil before China does. Isreal could take out what little capability Iran has In a heartbeat. That however wouldn't help bring in the New World Order now would it? World War III is comming soon. "They" are setting the stage for the final show that will bring in a one world goverment.
