What is everyone so afraid of SPIDERS? I HATE THEM and they are so scary! Why is that? I mean, I can be scared of a spider that is smaller than my pinky nail...what's up with that? lol

Where I was born and lived the early years of my life, spiders were poisionous.So we can just chalk it up to operant conditioning.

The Brown Recluse Spider bites people. Spiders can bite people!

I don't know hun, but I am scared to death of them and there is no logical reason... I think it might be cause the have eight legs and they walk all creepy.... Oh god, I'm grossed out just thinking about it!!! If anyone can explain the logic, I would be forever greatful It's a great mystery of life!!

I'm not afraid of spiders I just don't like them for the fact that they have eight creepy legs and fangs!

because they are so nasty looking, even the feeling of their webs are gross, when you walk thru one on the bushes. And to make it worse- did you ever see a spider on the ceiling of the shower? You have to shampoo your hair with one eye open, cause you think it is coming down on you. IILLLL GROSS!!

Actually it was scientifically proven that it's the fact that they have eight legs, for some reason the human brain has a hard time coping with that fact.

mayb coz they look scary and extra scary in harry potter:the chamber of secret.but my little sister not afraid of spiders,how incredible,she ATE it!!!n my mom yelled n guess what happen then...

they have venom, there bites are more lethal and painful, they look ugly and scary, and cause alot of webs and becomes a chore to remove them
