This is one of the worst decisions for CW. Everwood has a viewership of somewhere around 4-4.5 million viewers. They chose Veronica Mars over this, which average around 2 million viewers. In addition, they brought back Seventh Heaven, which did average 6-7 million viewers, but that was at least a year ago. And Seventh Heaven cast demands a lot more money than the Everwood cast.
Everwood was one of my favorite shows on TV. The first season was one of the best first seasons on TV. Although the story never got quite as good as with Colin, the show still gave viewers an hour of quality television. It is a shame that it has been cancelled.
There are some rumors of ABC family picking it up, but that may be only reruns. There are also some rumors of the DVDs not ever coming out. Which is really sad.

I am horribly upset and plan to boycott the CW network. How they can keep a totally crap show like One Tree Hill which has completely mediocre ratings and get rid of one of the best shows on TV ever is just beyond my comprehension.
