If you're asking what's the most intellectual team sport TO PLAY, then I would say Football is.
Cause there are so many play to remember and routes to remember etc... No other sports has that kind of memory needs.

almost any sport can have a bit of thinking involved. but here's a strange answer: skateboarding can be a team sport, and requires to have a basic knowledge of physics. street skateboarding requires all that and A LOT of creativity.

chess for 2 players, pool (alot of strategy and thought), Believe it or not, Football - lots of different game plans.
