As you grow and get bigger and stronger your time will improve. You can also improve your running mechanics. Work on your start, and work on strengthening your legs.

I really agree with what LeBo said. Its true if you do imagine that someone is trying to hurt you or something you run faster because your heart pumps blood. When i think about that i run super fast, all my friends are like whoa because i am the slowest one and after that i am the fastest. Also it is good to improve on your speed because you get healthier and better at the sport you are playing.
