I think that there should be a class. we have to LEARN how to do everything else. But the one job we have that is the most important and decides the future we have no training for. If you can have sex you can become a parent.

I think both parents should take a parenting course durring pregnancy. Not everything is common sence when you have your first child...I was half clueless when I had my son and I dont know what I would have done if my mom wasnt around to help get me through the first month to help me get started. A parenting class wouldve helped

There should be parenting classes starting in grade school. If you make below a C, no kids for you. There should also be lie detectors used to find out what they really do.

Good idea. Anybody can become a parent; but try and adopt a child and you would think that you are going for a presidency.

no, a test should be administered before they are allowed to become parents. if this was the case we would have fewer mistreated children in the world, and much better raised children.
