I would change the day my friend died and the day that my mom had an anuerysm burst and a stroke. I would choose to have none of this happen and for my mom to have gotten checked out on that day instead and for my friend to have decided to not ride his motorcycle that day.

Sara, you too, have been hurt a lot in your life, and suffered for 32 years. I , too, lost a son, back years ago, and I wouldn't change that either, although it breaks my heart that he died. If I could change one day in my life, it would be July 10, 1970, the day I married his sorry Mama....then there never would have beeen a son to lose. We mourn together, you and I....and thousands more...Good Luck in your life. You're young, and some better days are headed your way!

I would not have been so easily influenced by friends at the age of 12, when it supposedly looked "cool" to smoke. I would definitely take back the day I first tried a cigarette. I'm 27 now and sound like I have TB when I get up in the morning.

I would go back to the day my mother called me home from work. I rushed home and my elderly father was throwing up constantly. We went to the local hospital. Within 4 months he was dead, from a hernia operation that they botched. If I could go back and change things to go to another hospital besides the one he chose, I would give 20 years of my life. The loss of my father, made my mother give up on living. She didn't die, but became a bedridden invalid, in a nursing home. I visit her every few days, and bring her candies and whatever little things she asks for. The family home was sold to help cover the exorbitant costs of the nursing home. So, in the space of 2 years, I basically lost my father, my mother and my life-long home. I would give anything to change the day that started it all. Who wouldn't?
