Pro-Activ is a waste of money, and they send it to you every month and charge you for it, even if you don't want it. Once you sign up, you're screwed. Unless it magically does wonders for your skin. My boyfriend ordered it and used it as recommended, and it's done nothing... and they still keep sending more shipments of the products! It's expensive.
lol I'll give you one of his extra shipments...
Wow, I think Montana is a spokesperson for Pro-Activ, she said the same thing they say on the commercial. It works for some people. It fails with most. It depends on skin type and other things. You can buy a store brand product, like Neutrogena, like Mechelle, and still get excellent results. I use Clean & Clear Morning Burst (in the morning) and Clean & Clear Oxygenating products whenever else. I have no problems with blemishes ro acne.

Pro-active DOES WORK! I used it!
Your skin is the largest organ in the body. Eruptions, no matter how slight or strong are a signal to something else, usually a diet that consists of eating foods your liver and kidneys are having a hard time digesting.
For OPTIMUM skin health, especially during hormonal times, eat as natural and organic as possible. NO PROCESSED FOODS! as they contain chemicals which gets acne kickin'! Stay away from Mt.Dew. Dermotologists say that without even asking if you drink it!
Trust me, listen and watch what your skin does as you eat and drink certain things, it will tell you what it can handle. I've been fighting this for decades and just now after following this advice, have it under control.

Try Arcona products. Go to www.arcona.com. This product has really been effective in clearing up my skin. Their spa is in Los Angeles, but they have authorized spas that sell the product as well, if there is not one in your area you can always order online. How I got started is that I called the 1-800 number and talked to one of the consultants, I described for her in detail what my issues were, she sent me some samples, they were effective, I purchased the product and i have been quite happy w/ the results, old scars are healing and new ones are being prevented. I would advise against using Mary Kay, Clinque, and some not all of the Prescriptive products, they only made my skin worse.

Mary Kay makes a GREAT Clarifying mask it has literally saved my skin!!! It is Clarifying Mask Formula 3. I think it is like $11. And if that doesn't work for you they work with you to find out what will! I also have loved the Blemish Control Toner Formula 3.
I use that only two to three times a week. The mask I use 3 times
a week and it has just cleared up my skin!

Cetaphil for Gentle Skin. It cleared my acne up in less than a week and I haven't had another breakout since! I've been using it for a year now. It's only $9.99 for a bottle that will last you about 3-4 months. It even does something to make those little bumps go away! And my skin has never been softer and smoother!

Dear friend,
fisrt of all u have to sleep enogh....dont smoke(or try make it less),have a good nutrition...and if u do some sport it will be better...
secound u have to avoid sun shine ...its better if u use sun protection cream which has the SPF ove than 25% ...any kind of course some brands are better ....and every3 hrs renew the cream if u are out of home or office....and even use them if its not a shiny day...
third always wash ur face with some good soap(not cosmetic) after u removing ur make up....cuz make up damage our skin and even some remover use it too.....
forth....usually hydratate ur skin with the cream(its better if u try to use some brand that are not cosmetic brands )....
and at least u can visit a dermatologist...they can help a lot these days
First Q is how old are u and of course male or female and which nationality u have?
-The acne treatment depends on what kind of acne u have...we have many differen treatment for therm...
-First Step is avoid sun shine...u can use some protection cream which has the SPF over than 25%...then if u are a smoker have to decrease the number of them....decrease the fat food u take(oily.fast food.chips...)....drink enough water (more than 2 lits a day)....wash ur face with no bacter soap(at least twice a day)...if u are a girl dont use bad brand of make up stuff and wash ur make up as soon as possible(even if u use removal cream ).....if u start any mild sport like areobic or even jogging it will make ur skin better....take good nutrition and vegetable....
-secound we have some locolize solution ...they are antibactrial like erythromycin 1% and ....u can use them once every 2 nights on ur acnes(avoid 2 cm around ur eyes and 2 cm around ur mouth including ur nasolabial lines)....
-third u can use systemic antibiotics like tetracyclin or doxi by the order of ur G.P or dermatologist....
-if non of them work or u have cystic acne with scar u have to use a drug calls Actane its full of Vit A , it has his own order and u just can have it by a dermatolog ...
-we have some other treatments like Microdermabration(its usefull for black spots),pilling(deep and superficial) for make the acne and the scar of them goes....
its better if u visit a dermatologist.
Good Luck
P.S:proactive is just a comercial brand ...not very useful

Liars! I didnt think proactiv worked either but my brother got it, and then recommended it to me. It works like a charm if you use it correctly and daily. Of couse its not going to work if you use it for a week then stop for a month. Save up,and get it! Also:
1. get more sleep
2. dont touch your face with hands! it leads to breakouts
3. dont over wash your face, this also causes breakouts
4. Myth: if you eat a certain something, you will breakout. Nothing that you eat causes breakouts!
5. dont pick- you just push dirt further into the pore which causes an infection.
Good luck!

If you don't have a serious acne problem, but have some trouble spots or acne that some times pops up, but is sometimes clear, try using a facial mask.
I recommend Queen Helene's Mint Julep masque. It is fantastic and inexpensive. You should only use it a couple times a week at most, but it should help with those trouble spots.

I HAD that same problem. This is what I did. I bought Nuetrogena Cleanser & Toner (specially for acne). Wash my face 2x daily. At time I would on my acne place toothepaste. I also started taking Vitamin E. After a week, I have no acne. I have clear skin. I hope it works for you. Good luck.
