Today is 6/6/06. Not 6/6/6, because that date doesn't exist, because we always use the last TWO digits of our four digit year. Ignoring the zero is like ignoring the one in the date 6/6/16.
6,606 =/= 666.
The world is just as likely to end today as it was yesterday and will be tomorrow. Odds are, nothing is oging to happen.

Perhaps all these people freaking out should take a thoelogy class so they have some facts.......
When Paul wrote Revelation, The Beast he was referring to was Nero. The number was arrived at (most scholars believe) by converting Nero's Greek name into Hebrew letters which also function as numbers. And to top it all off, it was mistranslated...the correct number should be 616.
As for me and my family, we are doing the "Horns Over Hawthorne" in PDX...at exactly 6:06PM, all of us weird-o's are going to stretch across the Hawthorne Bridge and make the "devil horns" What fun.
I spit in the eye of superstition!

The end of the world is on Friday 6/6/6. You're safe today and you'll be dead before the end of the world.

It's all arbitary... I mean the calendar. The present calendar was switched a few hundred years ago. Many cultures in the world have their own lunar calendar. So, no... not scared at some arbitrary numbers.
