I always told the truth. But I am one of those people who the truth is more important than the repercussions of telling the truth! Why would I lie to my spouse. That doesn't start a relationship out very well. Cuz usually they learn the truth and are more angry that you lied to them.

When my husband and I got married, that question popped up and we both told the truth. The truth is the best way to go. It really shouldn't matter how many people either of you have slept with... you two are married now... and the amount of people you slept with has nothing to do with your marriage now. Like I told my husband, I really don't care how many people you have slept with... your with me now.

The truth. Although no one's asked me this in years. Once you get to a certain age, you just stop asking. It's not as important as it used to be when we were younger.
I used to always ask this, but now I just ask how many since the last time they were tested. Safety first! :)

People who you are going to sleep with and have slept with, Deserve an honest answer. It is a safety precaution. If they like you for you and not your stats. Then obviously you have a winner.

He would never ask that question. It's too personal and really irrelevant. He did ask, before we decided to sleep together, if I had been tested for HIV/AIDS and STDs and what the results were.

My husband has never asked. I have offered but he doesnt care. He says all he cares about is me and him the past is the past, there is no reason he needs to know. My husband loves and respects me.

I would tell him that what happened before you guys met is in the past and not to talk about. Tell him it doesn't even matter because you are with him, and you love him. Hoooope it works!:)
