1. Dawn of the Dead by George A. Romero
Dawn of the dead is my favorite movie because I love the whole sense of blood and gore. Horror movies now are taking advantage of the blood and gore to the next level and by that I mean their using to much computerize gadgets to get a better look but I don't think thats necessary cause nothing is looking real anymore.
2. Pulp Fiction by Quentin Tarantino
This movie is crazy. I love the fact that Tarantino took lot's of risks either if it was verbally or racially it totally worked in his favor and this movie turned out to be one of his breakthrough films to date. The editing was exceptionally great as well as the dialogue. Every words that was said in this movie by any characters was so elaborate.
3. National Lampoons with Chevy Chase
I love all four National Lampoons movies with Chevy Chase. There is no comedy movies out their that can ever make me laugh as much as these one could. Eventhough I've seen it plenty of times it stills keeps me wanting more from it. I can laugh and laugh and never stop.
4. The Lost Boys by Joel Schumacher
I like this movie because of the depiction of a 1980's vampire. For a vampire movie to be done in the 80's this was an awesome stab at it.

Rocky V
(just kidding)
Of all the movies listed, "My Cousin Vinny" comes the closest to being one of the five best... it's definitely the best comedy of the last 40 years, at least.
