I am looking into taking over the League President role in my local little league and wanted to know if anyone has any suggestions on how they have managed one, or knows how one is managed. We need help especially in umping and concessions.

there is a fee automatically tacked on to the enrollment fee for sports where i live. its like 20 dollars, and if the parents work the stand they get the 20 back... if not, whomever worked in thier place gets it.

I dont know about a president, but i was a tball coach and all i did was mark on the sign up sheet that i was interested.

For concessions, make it a cooperative system. Two parents from a team should work the concessions each week. It has worked wonderfully for us. A parent even volunteered to coordinate it.
