Check the pressure of the system when the engine off. Then turn the engine and AC on and see if the pressure changes. If the pressure does not change much, then the compresser is bad. If it changes a litte bit but starts to fluctuate as the compresser seems to turn off and on, then you do not have enough refridgerent. If the pressure changes a little bit, but there is no real drop in temperature, then you may have it over charged.

Working with refridgerent can be dangerous, so please handle with care or better yet, have a licensed professional work on it for you.

any time you open a refridgerant system you should pull a vacuum to get all moisture out .if you don't that moisture can stop up the refridgant metering device and the freon can't make it's cycle through the system.reguardless of how dry it seems there is moisture in the air,and atmospheric pressure pushes it into the system. so try pulling a vac first before wasteing more money.hope this info helps.

Maybe not enough refrig-did you measure it?
Is compressor turning? if not, presure may be too low.

Find out how much refrig your auto is suppose to hold-it will be something like 36 oz. , or 30, or 42??
Say 36 oz for this example. If a can holds 12 oz. then you need 3 cans.
When you crank the car and run the ac-look at the compressor-if its not turning-then either
1 It has too much refrig-high pressure switch is tripped out.
let out some freon.
2 its undercharged-add more
3 fuse is blown look for fuse and replace it
thats about all I can tell you.

The problem is that you have opened the system to the atmosphere. This allows water vapour into the system. Any time you have to open it, it has to be evacuated with a special vacuum pump. The vacuum boils off the water which will freeze at the evaporator orifice and plug it up. You need to have a pro do this step and have the proper amount of refrigerant put back in.

WoW! What a deal. and you gave an excellent clarification. it relatively is something so user-friendly as a floor subject or a quick interior the a/c equipment. Turning it on, capability to a/c, bang as we communicate to floor as a quick. diverting each and all of the capability to run the motor vehicle as we communicate to floor. examine the a/c wiring for continuity. As for the beginning, i had a motor vehicle that would refuse to start after it ran. it might could set and funky off. The starter replaced into drawing to many amps. It replaced into replaced and a warmth preserve put in. worked super. possible the coil is breaking down while warm. The while it cools it is going to artwork lower back. guy. stable luck with this. wish you get it. GOD bless.

In order for the A/C to work you need to create a vacuum in your system before adding the refrigerant. I hope you evacuated your system before adding the refrigerant. Otherwise your system may be under excessive pressure or may damage your compressor.

Firstly, make sure your electronic assembly is not frayed or worn. Secondly, what type of car is it? Check to see if you can find one belt that isn't moving. If it isn't moving, you may need a new assembly.

Holy crap. You added refrigerant? I thought you have to be a qualified technician to be messing with your a/c. Maybe you didn't add enough. Did you use a pressure gauge? Beyond that, you probably need to take it in

Did you add enough refridgerant and have you checked all the fuses.

when you replace lines you get air in it, whats happened is you have a air lock in it. you need to carry it somewhere ac place and they will pump it out and put the freon back in.
