I am a middle level manager and in mid 30s. Not sure what to do to gain more wealth & money. Sometimes feel kind of stressed up with life whenever think of financial constraints. Even though I lead a moderate life style by driving a old 10 year old car, I still feel the pressure. Maybe this is the rat race i am getting into just like many other salary earning people out there.

Think of all your interests & ask yourself if any of those could be expanded into a business. Just keep in mind...what's your expertise? What are your interests? What could you imagine yourself doing?

By researching the prospect of starting your own business -- what it entails, what you need to know, helpful hints, etc -- you'll feel better prepared to take that plunge.

I found some book titles that are relevant to your specific question:

* 101 Internet Businesses You Can Start from Home by Susan Sweeney
* The Best Home Businesses for the 21st Century by Paul Edwards
* Selling Online: How to Become a Successful E-Commerce Merchant by Jim Carroll
* I Could Do Anything If I Only Knew What It Was: How to Discover What You Really Want and How to Get It by Barbara Sher
* I Don't Know What I Want, But I Know It's Not This: A Step-by-Step Guide to Finding Gratifying Work by Julie Jansen

I also posted some article links in the source box.

Hope that helps! I wish you much success & happiness in all your ventures!

One of the only ways to earn wealth is to own your own business. More people have made more money by owning the place where they work than any other way. How? By coming up with an idea! Not just any idea, rather, making something out of nothing and having it be used by millions of people.
Become an entrepreneur. Open a business that works on your strengths. Are you any good at sales? Are you good at managing people (those who can sell)? Find something interesting to YOU! Do you like the environment, do you like cars, are you a financial person?
Now will follow all the scams and MLM you warned about.

I suggest you look into starting your own business. One that you can possibly work from home whether on the internet or maybe a service business. There are lots of thing one can do but they all require work. I found this site and they offer some tools to learn how to do various things as mentioned here. I have a couple and they are making me some money. And to answer the part of your question about mlm...no they are not. These are things that would be all up to you. Hope you find what you are looking for.
