Why are you asking about your 10 year old daughter's hymen? Please tell me you're not doing things you shouldn't be doing. And that she's not doing things she shouldn't be doing.
Once a hymen is "broken", it does not repair itself. Such things can happen with vigorous activity such as horseback riding and obviously sexual intercourse is the usual way that the hymen is broken. You should talk to her doctor if you are concerned about it. And if you are doing something you shouldn't be doing, then you need to seek help. It is not normal or acceptable to do anything to children in any kind of sexual context.

Actually, your hymen can brake by doing anything strenuous. Riding a bike, being on a bumpy rollercoaster, or even falling too hard on your bum. The Hymen will constantly heal itself. When a woman has intercourse, the only thing that doesn't stay intact is her tightness. The hymen will break more easily when you are not a virgin. but it will almost always heal.

Hymens can break from many things: playing sports, falling out of a tree, having sexual intercourse...some females do not even have a hymen....however, this is a really odd question for a man to be asking and it looks pretty suspicious.

If she's active physically, it can tear. If she's started her period, it can tear. If she participates in gymnastics or stretching of any sort, it can tear. Or the worst, she could be sexually active.
