If he won't commit and won't express his feelings to you, I'd ask myself whether or not I was happy with someone like that. Things aren't going to change, especially if things have been like this for seven months. He could be in a relationship with someone else, and this is his way of cheating without REALLY cheating. If someone won't commit, you can't force them too, and you've given it a shot for long enough. SEVEN months is plenty of time for him to have come around. If he hasn't by now, I don't believe he will. I'm sorry if that sounds harsh, but why deal with his crap when there are better guys out there?

How more committed can one get????????? Don't you think calling 3 or 4 times a day is his way of expressing his feelings?

Try to show him that it is ok to show affection towards you cause you really want it. Tell him that you understand it, but a relationship will not work unless there is some compassion, affection and love shown for each other.

tell him how you feel and tell him if he wants your relationship to grow he has to move to the next step and he cant control what happen in the past my parents weren't affectionate at all when i was growing up but it only took time for me to get over it work on your trust so he knows he wont get hurt and if he doesn't want to do any of it tell him y'all will have to be just friends until hes ready for what your ready for

u should tell him about how u feel for him, so that he sees that it is normal to express how u feel. if he talks about his relationship with his mother, tell him that ur relationship is not the same. u have a chance for happiness and he has one too.
be brave and caring and hopefully he'll realize that not all women r the same.

This guy is a project. Are you really sure you want that? Mommy issues are really difficult to deal with for a guy.

he's really nice from what u r saying but i dunno, alot of guys r afraid to commit just cos they've been hurt before or something.
do u know what, tell him this: you have a problem with commitment because when u do, you think i will walk all over u, dont u?
well, good luck.
