How do you tell your mom you like boys?

I'm 12,do you think she already knows? Ever since my birthday in January I've been looking at boys differently.My mom's a christian.She says I should'nt be able to date until I'm a grownup(19)

Oh,and could you please answer my other questions?

I'm a christian too and I'm homeschooled.How can I interact with boys when I'm homeschooled?

You know, i was in the same exact situation. I thought my mom was going to flip out but she didn't. Its around puberty time for you, so it's regular for girls your age to start liking boys. Heck, i liked boys since kindergarden. So.. let me tell you a story, my mom and i were on our way home from the super market and it was really quiet. All the sudden i asked how old do i have to be to have a boyfriend? and she said when your ready, but please tell me if you do plan on having a boyfriend,ok? i nodded my head. In my mind i was so happy because i didnt expect her to take it that well. Maybe your mother is strict, so talk to her about something you saw on television or future plans. Then after a while of talking just start asking her about her love life, not so much though. Ask her like, how old were you when you had your first crush and boyfriend? how was it like? bla bla bla... then tell her.. well, i like this guy and bla bla bla. Only tell her about guys she would approve of. Im catholic i think its the same as christians.. hm.. ok well anyways, thats how you do it. any more questions? e-mail my source.

Those are crappy answers. Okay, they are dissing you just cause your 12, but everyone started likeing boys at 12. Dont come right out and say, I like boys, but when you are talking to her about school, just say that there was this cute boy who helped you with your homework problem. One of three things will happen;

1. She will flip out like a weirdo
2. She will tell you that you are too young to be thinking about boys
3. She will talk to you about it and ask you how you feel

If its number 1, you should keep your mouth shut for a while
If its number 2, you need to tell her your not thinking about them, but boys are not as bad as you thought they were. Leave it at that.
If its number3, great! I was about your age when my mother asked me if I liked boys, and i was sooo scared to tell her. but i did and she told me its natural to think about them marrying you, talking to you, flirting with you, whatever. its natural and its not something you can stop thinking about.

If your mom asks you how you feel and things like that, tell her. Just dont go overboard. she needs to know how you feel so she can guide you in the right path. Many people dont tell their parents and end up pregnant. Communication is key. Good luck gir!!!!!:)
