Oh, Maude is so contagious. If I were a 22 year old rich kid fixated on suicide, I would have fallen for her too. What a beautiful soul. Great sound track too."A million things to be you know that there are."

I'd be a Butterfly Bush because it fragrant and has this beautiful lavender color and brings butterflies near by. It loves the sun and tolerates drought. I have one and each May I think--man it died and by June it starts peaking up from the bottom. The blossoms last from July-September. It brings me comfort, joy and amazement. That is what I want to do for others.

Well, I've never seen that movie. But if I could be a flower I'd want to be a daisy. They're perennial, so every year I could come back out right at the beginning of summer, and I could sleep all winter. I could live in a pasture with the yarrow and the wild phlox and smile at the sun and never have to talk, or work, or cry, or be tired ever again. *sigh* Maybe my son could be a daisy too and he'd never have to put up with his "daddy" anymore and we'd just wave and play in the breeze together, somewhere on the Kansas prairie in the sun.

I have not seen "Harold and Maude", I want to though.
If I could be a flower, I would be a bright red orchid. Or any kind of Vanda orchid at all! Perhaps a honeysuckle, if I can be replenished of my nectar!

I'd be an orchid because they're HOT. I, for once in my life, would like to be looked at as HOT.

I saw the film, but it was years ago when I probably didn't understand it as well as I would today. I seem to recall finding it.... Frightening for some reason.

I want to be the orchid that loods like the back end of it's pollenating bee. That way I'll get some all the time!

A scarlet poppy in a cornfield - I like the symbolism of this flower, and the poignancy of its lifespan being so short.
