I am one of those rare GEEKS who studies classical Greek, and I would like to get my hands on a copy of the first Harry Potter book, which has been translated int Greek. Trouble is, Barns & Noble don't seem to have it; neither does Amazon.

Any ideas?

If you are absolutely sure it has been translated into Greek, try contacting J.K. Rowling's publisher directly. They are likely to know where you can get a copy of it or perhaps you can order a copy directly from them. Rock with your geekiness (or would it be GREEKiness--ha, ha).

Sometimes a smaller bookstore will bend over backwards to help you find a book that you really want, in order to compete with the big box bookstores. I've had success with a smalltown bookstore that has helped me find a couple of hard-to-get books.

I've seen it (and the classical Latin translation as well) on sale at universtiy bookstores. Good luck.
